The sun was shining as we were greeted by a team of friendly but stern security guards who were keeping watch to make sure that no one was allowed access to the party that hadn’t been invited but more importantly to keep the paparazzi off of the scene so that details of another bonanza episode of TOWIE were kept totally under wraps.
Mickey was throwing a full on ‘fairground’ themed bash for his lovely son Kirk’s birthday in his huge back garden or should we say country estate! There were bumper cars, a tarot card reader, Waltzers, a Mega Motion thrill ride, jugglers and even fire-eaters!
The party was in full swing when were we arrived and the ‘truly down to earth’ birthday boy seemed to be really enjoying himself surrounded by his nearest and dearest friends and family and of course all of the cast from TOWIE. He even had an impromptu rendition of ‘happy birthday’ from all of his mates whilst on the bumper cars.
Kirk looked chilled but perfectly turned out for the occasion in a pair of denim knee length shorts and white t-shirt. His beautiful girlfriend Lauren Pope was enjoying mingling with the guests and looked totally stunning in a coral tunic dress from AX Paris and a pair of wedges. The couple looked so happy maybe it was the fact that Lauren had just added a new addition to their relationship… she surprised Kirk on the morning of his birthday with the most adorable bull dog puppy.

When not filming Lucy Meck and Lydia spent the day chatting with friends and soaking up the glorious sunshine. Arg seemed to be keeping his distance from Lydia which must have been difficult, as she was again looking ultra glamorous in a floor length summer dress and matching pashmina by small London boutique Mina teamed with aviator RayBan sunglasses and wedges from New Look. Lucy wore a floor length multi coloured gown from friend and business associate Chantelle Houghton’s new boutique Vardo in Buckhurst Hill, Roberto Cavalli sunglasses and had her nails painted by ‘Beaus and Belles’ in Buckhurst Hill to match perfectly.
It was another family affair for Lauren, Mark and sister Nicola Goodger. Both of the sisters looked hot and when not filming Lauren spent the day playing and entertaining her niece and nephew on the fairground attractions with Mark on hand to help out. Lauren was rocking the summer look in an orange mini dress whilst fiancé Mark was sporting what’s quickly becoming one of his casual signature looks in jeans, teamed with a graffiti vest from Religion and Puma’s by Alexander Mc Queen. Lauren’s sister Nicola was also blending in to the summer fashion vibe in a long pink maxi dress from high store River Island.
Jessica Wright spent the day chatting with cast and family all the while she was looking hot in a new seasons dress by Lipsy and a cool sunhat.
The Faiers sisters were enjoying the party and got completely stuck in, they showed everyone their fun side by joining in the party spirit and taking turns on the ‘Bucking Bronco’ they were brilliant and totally hilarious whilst completely smashing the cool summer festival look with Billie in a black playsuit from Minnies and Sam wearing a pink tutu.
Joey Essex spent most of his time hanging out with the Faiers crew. Joey has been known for some fashion faux pas in the past however today we think he nailed it. He looked ultra cool but smart in chino style shorts, t-shirt with designer trainers and of course his hair was looking perfectly groomed.
We caught up with Chloe Sims , she said she was really enjoying the day and the whole TOWIE experience and was looking forward to seeing tarot card reader later! She looked great in a pink floaty dress by Virgo, Buckhurst Hill that she stylishly teamed with a cropped biker jacket from religion and totally pulled of the rock chic look.
It was a brilliant day and we’re sure Kirk loved every second of it. Happy Birthday Kirk and many happy returns to a lovely guy x x x x x x x
