EXCLUSIVE : The TOWIE Engagement Party

So the TOWIEStyle team arrived fully prepared, tanned, lashes on, gorgeous gown, skyscraper heels and camera at the ready!

To set the scene for you, the bash was held at stunning luxury hotel Orsett Hall set in twelve acres of landscaped gardens in Essex, family and friends mingling with the stars from the show, the movers and shakers in the Essex world and a large camera crew all in the mix!

What a recipe for a great night…

We drank champagne, ate from a sumptuous buffet, delved into the chocolate fountain, danced all night to the live band and enjoyed a brilliant swing set by the lovely Arg, all the while every move filled with glamour, hissy fits and even a tearful speech from the groom to be was being captured on camera to be aired for what we know is going to be a bumper show on Sunday,

The cast were on good form, stunning couple Lauren Pope and Kirk Norcross fresh from their double dates at Thorpe Park and Nobu with Katie Price and Leandro Penna looked truly happy and in love. Kirk was dressed in TOPMAN and Lauren in another exquisite creation from DEBRA Boutique, Chigwell.

Kirk did seem to steer clear from archenemy Maria Fowler, which we think was best, we did not see a camera crew filming another altercation but we could be wrong… However Maria was all smiles and looked radiant in a beautiful Forever Unique maxi dress.

Gemma Collins looked fab and was enjoying her debut 'filmed night out' with the full TOWIE cast hanging out with Sam and Billie Faiers who were again turned out brilliantly from head to toe, both wearing Lipsy dresses that will be stocked at Minnies boutique when it opens on the 23^rd April. Their best mate Harry was also having a good night looking great in H&M, we did ask him to show us some of his Lady Gaga moves, he declined and told us we have to go to his gig in Watford tonight for that!

We missed the sparkle of Amy Childs, sadly poor Amy had to leave the party early as she was suffering from poor health. Get well soon Amy.

It was a family affair for cousins Joey Essex and Chloe Sims.  When Joey wasn’t catching up with his mates you could see him from a distance chatting to Sam in a quiet corner and to be fair they do make a rather beautiful couple and we think Joey’s cousin Chloe would agree.

As you would expect, Mark’s family were out in force and style for such an important event in the Wright family calendar.  Carol, Mark’s mum seemed to be really enjoying the evening and looked fabulous in a red floor length gown by Bernshaw. Nanny Pat said ‘I’ve had a really good time tonight, the music and the food was lovely, the hotel have put on a good spread’. Jessica was on great form, she looked totally beautiful in another Gorgeous Couture creation. It really was a “Wright” celebration as she treated all of the guests to a duet with Arg of power ballad  ‘Endless Love’ and totally blew us all away.

TOWIEStyle always champion Lydia Rose Bright wardrobe choices and she did not disappoint, she breezed through the party like a ray of beautiful sunshine in her Kaftan dress from Spain, although however much we all love Arg he did seem like a little dark cloud whenever he was around her…. We hope they can work it out.

The bride and groom ‘to be’ were having a great time catching up with their friends and family and letting them have the special opportunity to feature in the hit ITV2 show. Lauren looked a picture of happiness and glamour, it was her moment and she completely wowed the guests in gorgeous dress by local Loughton boutique ‘Im so fly…..’ Mark looked equally hot and exceptionally dapper in a tailored grey suit from RIESS teamed with a light pink shirt and matching pocket hankerchief. Mark ended the perfect evening by giving a sincere, heart warming, and tearful speech confessing his love and respect for his future wife. Ahhhhhhhhhhh too cute…….

So guys, this really is just a taster for what is going to probably the biggest and best episode of TOWIE Season 2 so far.

Tell your mates, tell your family and make sure that all 1.3 million of you and more are tuned in…. it is going to be one hell of a show, brilliant viewing and don’t forget the hankies!
