Essex Fashion Week 2011 : Day 1

So yesterday me and Jessica Wright from TOWIE rocked up to Day 1 of EFW 2011 - the press day.

I took my front row seat next to Nanny Pat and Jessica’s Mum Carol, relaxed and drank champagne to watch my girl hit the runway.

The TOWIE cast was a bit thin on the ground but Jess, Lydia, & Arg did represent. Jessica Stole the show with her leggy pins in a fabulous preppy cardigan and shorts outfit followed by a Missoni inspired swimsuit look all by New Look. Lydia looked hot too in this seasons on trend baseball jacket (she’s tiny).  Arg got up and said a few lines bless him and told us that he wouldn’t be singing  – shame!

The New Look Spring/Summer Collection looked exciting with lots of fashion forward trends to take us through Summer and the models looked like they were from top London agencies.

There was a great turn out of photographers with national and regional press but I didn’t get the feeling this day was everything that EFW had up it’s sleeve. 

Looking forward to Saturday – the main day where there are whispers of JLS performing plus loads of celebrities!
