Duke of Essex Polo Trophy 2011

TSTYLE TV were on the red carpet today for one of the biggest events in the Essex social calendar, Duke of Essex Polo Trophy in Gaynes Park, Epping.

We were filming a Fashion and Style news article for a national paper and thought it was only fair for us to update our blog followers!

So, to set the scene, we had, handsome polo players, champagne tents, VIP areas, celebrity chefs, TV starts and VIP arrivals by helicopter and by Range Rover limousine!

TOWIE stars Lydia, James Argent, Joey Essex, Amy Childs, Harry Derbridge, Nicola Goodger, Maria Fowler, Lauren Pope, Kirk Norcross, Chloe Simms, Lucy Mecklenburgh and Joey Essex all arrived in style by helicopter.

They were all there to cheer on Team Great Britain as it took on South America at the event.

All of the TOWIE squad were in attendance, Maria Fowler even commented, “it’s like a reunion as we have all been so busy that we’ve not had the chance to meet up, so it should be a good day to have a good catch up ”

However, Mark Wright and his fiancée Lauren Goodger, were not at the event due to attending a friends wedding.

Along with the TOWIE cast other celebrity guests included Gareth Gates, Peter Andre, Bianca Gascoigne, Dane Bowers, Danielle Brown, Chantelle Houghton, Alex Ried, Nick Knowles, Lizzie Cundy and Nicola Mclean.  They all enjoyed a champagne reception and a four-course lunch made by TV chef cook Gregg Wallace.

Peter Andre was this year's guest of honour and opened the match by throwing a ball at the start of the game.

Alex Reid looked great in a polo inspired outfit as he arrived with new girlfriend Chantelle Houghton who wore a green maxi dress.

Amy Childs and Lauren Pope both wore dresses from DEBRA Chigwell.

Chloe Sims, Maria Fowler and Ellie Redman wore dresses by Forever Unique, whilst Lydia Rose Bright donned a vintage ensemble.
